Womens Golfers Finish Second in LSU Fairwood Invitational

The UCLA womens golf team recorded its best finish of the season, capturing second place in the LSU Fairwood Invitational over the weekend.
The Bruins, ranked 23rd last week, finished three shots behind first place Duke, the nations top-ranked team, at 623. Host LSU was third at 626, followed by Auburn at 632 and Texas A & M at 636.
UCLA junior Amanda Moltke-Leth recorded her best finish of the season, capturing fourth place with a 36-hole total of 151. Freshman Giulia Sergas tied for 13th at 157, followed by junior Alex Gasser, who tied for 18th at 159. Sophomores Leilani Bagby and Laura Moffat tied for 26th and 30th, respectively.
Texas A & Ms Anna Johnson won medlaist honors with a one-over par total of 145.
