Men's Golf Finishes Third At Husky Invitational

ORCHARD, Wash. - The UCLA men's golf team captured third place in the Husky Invitational, hosted by the University of Washington at Trophy Lake Golf Course in Casting Point Orchard, WA. The Bruins also placed four players among the top 15 individuals as Stanford won the team and individual titles.
The Bruins posted a final round score of 373 for a 54-hole total of 1,117 behind Stanford at 1,106 and Oregon at 1,115. Unlike most tournaments, the Husky Invitational featured six-player teams with five scores counting toward the team total.
Senior Brandon DiTullio recorded his third straight top 10 finish, taking third place at 218, two-over par. Junior Jeff McGraw placed ninth at 221, followed by freshman Travis Johnson in 10th place at 222. Sophomore Parker McLachlin tied for 13th at 224. Senior Jason Semelsberger finished 44th at 232 and junior Steve Wagner tied for 52nd at 238.
The Bruins will compete in the Carpet Capital Invitational, hosted by Georgia Tech, Oct. 1-2 at The Farm in Dalton, GA.
