The Pacific-10 Conference claimed seven NCAA Championships in the 1999-2000 academic year, more than any major conference. Leading the way was UCLA, whose four NCAA titles were more than any institutions' in the country.

The Bruins snatched titles in men's volleyball and water polo and women's gymnastics and indoor track and field. In addition to their NCAA titles, UCLA also won the women's water polo National Collegiate Title.

Making up the remaining three NCAA titles were Stanford, which claimed national titles in men's tennis and outdoor track and field, and Arizona, which won the crown in women's golf.

Altogether, the Pac-10 won four men's crowns and three women's titles to edge out the runnerup Big Ten Conference and Southeastern Conference, which each had six.
