CLEMSON, S.C. --The 14th ranked UCLA women's soccer team scored three early first half goals in route to a convincing 5-0 win over the Georgia State Lady Panthers in the third game of the Clemson/Nike Kickoff Classic today at Historic Riggs Field.

The Bruins evened their mark in the tournament and the regular season to 1-1. The Lady Panthers fall to 0-2 on the season, 0-2 in the two-game season-opening tournament.

UCLA scored early in the first half at the 8:14 mark when Staci Duncan scored the first of her two goals off the rebound of a Lindsay Greco shot. Greco would be credited with the assist. The Bruins would score four minutes later to make it 2-0 on a Sarah-Gayle Swanson six yard shot into the net. Bethany Bogart and Nandi Pryce registered assists on the play. At the 22:57 mark Swanson and Greco double-assisted Duncan's second goal of the game to end the scoring in the first half.

The Bruins would add two more unassisted goals in the second half by Tracey Milburn and Greco to make the final 5-0.

UCLA out shot Georgia State 38 to one and tallied 18 corner kicks to Georgia State's one.
