Columbus, OH - The UCLA women's basketball team gave undefeated Ohio State its stiffest challenge of the season Thursday night, but the Buckeyes took home the victory, 79-57, at Value City Arena.

UCLA kept the game close in the first half, taking an 18-16 lead after a Michelle Greco layup at the 9:36 mark and then trailing by just 10, 41-31 at the half. The Bruins cut the lead to six, 42-36, early in the second half, but Ohio State used an 11-0 run to take a 17-point advantage (53-36) with 13:01 remaining and never looked back.

Greco led the Bruins with 20 points and notched four steals. Jalina Bradley and Kristee Porter totaled nine points apiece. Malika Leatham led the Bruins in rebounding with five.

Courtney Coleman paced the Buckeyes with her first career double-double, tying career highs with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Jamie Lewis dished out 11 assists while scoring eight points. LaToya Turner added a game-high 20 points and seven rebounds, while Tomeka Brown tallied 16 points.

UCLA's record drops to 1-8, while Ohio State improves to 10-0 and is off to its best start since 1972-73.
