
UCLA Edges UC Santa Barbara, 3-2, in Men's Volleyball

The top-ranked and defending NCAA champion UCLA men's volleyball team edged visiting UC Santa Barbara, 3-2, Friday night in Pauley Pavilion.
The Bruins (8-3, 4-1) won 30-20, 30-32, 30-23, 22-30, 15-12 in two hours and 12 minutes before 1,618.
Once again, the Bruins dominated the net, out-blocking the Gauchos, 16-12.5 and limiting them to a hitting percentage of .259. UCLA also recorded 59 digs to UCSB's 45 and spiked 76 kills to its opponent's 70.
Junior Ian Burnham and sophomore Cameron Mount led the Bruins with 23 and 21 kills, respectively, and sophomore Scott Morrow added 11 block assists.
Sophomore Ben Koski led the Gauchos (5-4, 3-4) with 22 kills and nine digs.
