Los Angeles - Coming off a tough, 4-3 loss to No. 15 USC on Thursday, the No. 8 UCLA women's tennis team rebounded strong on Saturday, defeating Oregon, 7-0 at the Los Angeles Tennis Center.
The Bruins swept all three doubles matches, including all six singles matches to improve to 9-2 overall on the year and 1-1 in Pac-10 Conference action.
UCLA won four of the six singles matches without too much trouble as Megan Bradley, Sarah Gregg, Catherine Hawley and Mariko Fritz-Krockow all notched straight-set victories. Petya Marinova and Lauren Fisher needed three sets, but ended up taking singles victories as well.
The Bruins return to the courts on Tuesday to host Duke at the LATC beginning at 1:30 p.m.
