
Bruins Sweep UC Santa Barbara

The UCLA men's volleyball team defeated UC Santa Barbara 3-0 Wednesday night on the road.
The Bruins (7-7, 4-6) won 30-26, 30-28, 30-28. The Gauchos fell to 5-11 overall and 3-8 in league play.
Freshman Matt McKinney led the Bruins with a career-high of 14 kills, followed by sophomore Jonathan Acosta's 12 kills.
In team statistics, UCSB out-hit the Bruins, .368 to .335 and out-blocked them, 18.5-11. But the Gauchos committed 19 service errors to the Bruins' four and the Bruins recorded three aces to UCSB's two.
Justin Adams led UCSB with 16 kills.
The Bruins' road trip continues to the Bay Area this weekend where they will meet Pacific on Friday and Stanford on Saturday.
