The UCLA men's volleyball team won its fourth straight match by defeating Stanford on the road Saturday night.
The Bruins won 30-27, 30-19, 30-26 to raise their record to 9-7 overall and 6-6 in conference play. Stanford fell to 8-8 and 6-6.
Sophomore Jonathan Acosta led the Bruins with 12 kills (.409) and junior Chris Pe?a added nine kills (.412) and four aces. Senior Scott Morrow added seven kills and nine block assists as the Bruins limited the Cardinal to a hitting percentage of .194. UCLA also out-blocked Stanford, 11.5-6.0.
Paul Bocage led the Cardinal with 11 kills.
This week the Bruins will host LaVerne at 7 p.m. on Wed., Feb. 26 in Pauley Pavilion.
