The UCLA cross country teams placed second behind Stanford at the USF Invitational at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. Senior Jon Rankin was UCLA's highest finisher on the men's side, placing seventh with a time of 24:11.6, while sophomore Alison Costello and junior Jenna Timinsky placed in the Top 10 on the women's side. Costello ran a time of 17:26.5. Timinsky finished in 17:52.3.
