The UCLA gymnastics team will host five home meets in 2006, including the home opener on Jan. 7 against nine-time NCAA champion Utah.

To jump-start the 2006 season, UCLA will hold its Meet the Bruins exhibition on Nov. 20 at the John Wooden Center. Along with the home opener against Utah, the Bruins will host Pac-10 dual meets in Pauley Pavilion on Jan. 22 (vs. Oregon State) and Feb. 12 (vs. Washington). Multi-team meets (Arizona/Cal State Fullerton/UC Davis on Feb. 19 and Stanford/San Jose State on Mar. 5) round out the home schedule.

The Bruins return three All-Americans in 2006, including reigning NCAA all-around champion Tasha Schwikert and two-time NCAA champion Kate Richardson. Also returning is balance beam All-American Jordan Schwikert.
