Hours before UCLA took the field against Rice last Saturday, UCLA fans, student-athletes and staff members teamed up with the Red Cross to help raise money for those in the Gulf Coast affected by Hurricane Katrina. The results of the donation drive were outstanding as the Bruin family raised $39,297.85, all of which will go directly to the Red Cross and the relief efforts.
UCLA would like to thank everyone who participated in 'Bruins For Relief' and especially those who generously donated to help those in need.
