Kocsor Throws Another Lifetime-Best in the Hammer at the Triton Invitational

Freshman Boldizsar Kocsor broke his own freshman record in the hammer on Friday at the UC San Diego Triton Invitational as he finished fifth overall with a new lifetime-best mark of 205-1. Kocsor has broken the freshman record three times this season and improved on his best mark by nearly three feet in La Jolla, CA. He was the No. 3 collegiate thrower in the meet and is just one inch shy of making the UCLA all-time top-10.
Junior Andrew Ninow, who is redshirting the 2006 track season, finished eighth overall as an unattached thrower with a mark of 194-4.
Competition continues on Saturday at the UCSD Triton Invitational with the remainder of the meet.
