We hope you're all enjoying a productive summer. Here in Westwood, we're feverishly preparing for another great season in 2007-08. There are only 9 more weeks until the Bruins travel to Stanford to kick off the 2007 football season; one that promises to be exciting and action-packed throughout. If you've read any of the college football preview magazines, UCLA is rated in the top 25 in most and in the upper division in the Pac-10. Many publications predict a BCS bowl berth for the Bruins. Here's just a glance at the pre-season rankings from several sources: TSN #6, CFN #9, ESPN.com #23, SI.com #24.

We leave you this week with one of Coach Wooden's favorite poems, written by legendary sportswriter Grantland Rice. It is called "How To Be A Champion". Enjoy.
