Junior Austin Ramos and senior Henry Hagenbuch had a big night at the Stanford Invitational on Saturday as both ran lifetime-bests and top-10 national times in their respective events.

Ramos ran a huge liftime-best of 13:51.73 in the 5000m to finish 12th overall (9th-best collegian). That time was a regional qualifier and improved on his previous lifetime-best by nearly 25 seconds and moved him to into UCLA's all-time top-10 at the No. 7 spot. It should also rank in the top-10 or top-15 in the country.

Hagenbuch also had a huge night for UCLA as he ran a lifetime-best and regional qualifiying time of 8:58.64 in the steeplechase to finish fourth overall in section two. It was just the second time Hagenbuch had ever competed in the steeplechase and he knocked over 20 seconds off of his previous best of 9:19.18. The mark is just outside of UCLA's all-time top-10 and should rank in the top-10 in the country.

Junior Mike Haddan finished 17th in the top section of the 1500m, running a season-best 3:50.23. Sophomore Laef Barnes, running in the B section of the 1500m, placed 20th in a time of 3:52.32.
