Rider and Haddan Post Lifetime-Bests at Claremont Classic

Josh Rider and Mike Haddan both posted lifetime-bests on Saturday at the Claremont Classic as Rider PR'd in the disc and Haddan in the 800m. Rider came into the meet with a discus best of 178-7 and improved to 181-10 to finish second overall. Haddan came into the meet with a season-best of 1:51.27 and lifetime-best of 1:50.76 and dropped his PR down to 1:50.56. He is just .14 seconds shy of the regional standard in the 800m (1:50.40).
Also on Saturday at the Claremont Classic, decathlete Matt Reuter finished ninth in the high jump with a mark of 6-4, wihle Andreas Drbal placed 11th in the javelin with a throw of 162-3. Marlon Patterson finished sixth in the 800m, running 1:52.62.
