As part of its First to 100 celebration, UCLA will provide all athletes, coaches and assistant coaches of NCAA championship teams with a commemorative gift.

The gift is an oversized gold-plated ring that sits on a wooden base and is being made available thanks to the generosity of Faculty Athletic Representative Don Morrison and his wife Sherie.

UCLA has acknowledged each of the individual NCAA championship teams during halftime of every home football and men's basketball game over the course of the 2007-08 athletic season by introducing former players and coaches. The final team introduction will take place at halftime of Saturday's basketball game against Cal and will culminate in the awarding of the First To 100 trophy to Chancellor Gene Block from Athletic Director Dan Guerrero.

UCLA is the first and only school to win 100 NCAA team championships.

The oversized rings will not be offered for public sale and are exclusively for members and coaches of NCAA championship teams.
