For the second consecutive meet, sophomore Bo Taylor threw 59-9.50 in the shot put as he won the event. That mark equals his lifetime-best. Sophomore Nick Robinson was third in the shot put with a season-best 59-4.75 to improve upon his provisional qualifier.

Another event winner for the Bruins was sophomore Jonathan Clark who won the triple jump with a leap of 50-4.75. He was just 4 centimeters shy of a provisional qualifier.
