
UCLA Splits a Pair in Canada

The UCLA men's volleyball team split a pair of matches in the annual Husky Dino Cup, hosted by the University of Calgary.
The Bruins won their second match of the day, defeating host Calgary 21-25, 25-19, 25-19, 36-34. Senior Brett Perrine led UCLA with 16 kills (.750), followed by 10 kills apiece from third-year sophomore Jeremy Casebeer (.562) and freshman Chen Levitan. Levitan also added three total blocks and an ace.
Trinity Western University swept UCLA in the opener, 25-20, 28-26, 25-18. Levitan led the Bruins with 12 kills (.350), followed by 10 from Perrine (.571).
The competition continues Saturday.
