Anzures & Murakami Wrap Up 2009 Cross Country Season At NCAA Championships

Shannon Murakami and Marco Anzures wrapped up the 2009 cross country season on Monday at the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Ind. The duo were the sole runners representing UCLA at the National meet.
Murakami finished 114th overall on the 6k course with a time of 21:24.5. Anzures was 249th on trhe 10k course, crossing the finish line in 35:10.01.
Both Murakami and Anzures led the Bruin harriers in the post-season as both earned second-team All-Pac-10 and All-West Region honors.
