
Colorado Upsets No. 10 UCLA, 1-0 in Double-OT

Boulder, Colo. - The No. 10 UCLA women's soccer team suffered its second loss of the 2010 season on Sunday, falling to host Colorado, 1-0 in the final minutes of overtime at the Omni Hotels Soccer Classic at Colorado's Prentup Field.
Just when it appeared that the game would end in a scoreless tie, Colorado (4-4) notched the game winner in the 108th minute on a 20-yard shot from reserve Lizzy Herzl. Kym Lowry and Kate Russell were credited with assists on that goal.
UCLA (5-2-1) was led on the day by junior forward Sydney Leroux who had a game-high six shots. Junior goalkeeper Chante' Sandiford played the entire match in goal, making four saves.
UCLA returns to Drake Stadium next week, hosting San Diego on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and Santa Clara on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
