Wooden Athletic Fund Web Site | Wooden Athletic Fund on Twitter
LOS ANGELES - The Wooden Athletic Fund, the official fundraising arm of UCLA Athletics, announced today the launch of its official web site, woodenathleticfund.com. The Internet site was created to provide a more robust and personal experience for all current and future athletic department donors.
"The ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to our constituents is the key component in our challenge of promoting donor growth while increasing annual financial support for our 700 student-athletes," said Tod Bannister, Director of the Wooden Athletic Fund. "We felt it was imperative that we develop a platform that can clearly and effectively communicate our message to the members of our donor base while providing reasons why their support is so critical to our mission of investing in a tradition of excellence."
The web site will showcase donor profiles, an interactive benefit chart and features on current and past student-athletes.
"Not only will this website enable our annual fund members to better understand their benefits and how their support is used, it will enable all friends of UCLA to learn more about all of our UCLA Athletic fundraising endeavors including the $100 million Pauley Pavilion Campaign of Champions," said Josh Rebholz, Associate Athletic Director for Development. "This new website, along with our social media initiatives, are important steps in serving our generous donors as best as possible."
