Wooden Athletic Fund membership renewals for 2012-13 have been mailed to current members, and 2012-13 membership renewals and new memberships are now available online at WoodenAthleticFund.com. Members who have priority seats and/or parking for football or men's basketball should renew by June 30, 2012 to ensure their benefits for the upcoming year.
Donation amounts for 2012-13 will be automatically listed on your Statement of Support if you are receiving a renewal. These cover any and all priority seating requirements for seats you may have selected at the New Pauley Pavilion for 2012-13 UCLA Men's Basketball and/or for seats you may currently have at the Rose Bowl for 2012 UCLA Football. Donations to the Wooden Athletic Fund are tax-deductible by law at 80% when receiving benefits, including priority seating.
For 2012-13, the Wooden Athletic Fund is excited to announce new benefits for their qualifying members. Among the new benefits are valet parking for UCLA Men's Basketball, expanded pregame sideline access at the Rose Bowl, Pavilion Club access at New Pauley Pavilion, access to an exclusive Central Ticket Office donor ticket phone line, and added exclusive special events for members to meet and greet UCLA coaches, staff and student-athletes. These new benefits are in addition to some of the current benefits that all Wooden Athletic Fund members enjoy, such as priority seating at the Rose Bowl and New Pauley Pavilion, enhanced priority parking at the Rose Bowl and New Pauley Pavilion, complimentary admission to UCLA Olympic Sport home events, and exclusive recognition and communication.
Additionally, the Wooden Athletic Fund has announced two new programs in 2012-13 to increase annual support for UCLA student-athletes, through the "Become a Champion" program and the "1500 Movement." Renewing members who increase their annual support at least one giving level will qualify to "Become a Champion" and will be awarded an exclusive adidas Wooden Athletic Fund hat, as well as special promotions and invitations throughout the year.
Friends, fans and alumni of UCLA who are not currently a member of the Wooden Athletic Fund are encouraged to join as a new member and help in the "1500 Movement." The 1500 movement was established in honor of the 15 blocks in Coach John Wooden's Pyramid of Success, with the intent of filling up each block with 100 new members. Any new member or any current member who refers a new member will also be awarded an exclusive adidas Wooden Athletic Fund hat, as well as special promotions and invitations throughout the year. Memberships in the Wooden Athletic Fund begin at just $100 annually.
The Wooden Athletic Fund is dedicated to honoring the lasting educational and athletic legacy of Nell and John Wooden. Together, members of the Wooden Athletic Fund team provide invaluable support for over 700 UCLA student-athletes, and every gift has a positive impact on their ability to succeed in the classroom, in competition and in the community. The UCLA Athletics Development team wants to ensure that all donors to UCLA Athletics are provided a first class donor experience and encourages donors and prospective donors to learn more via phone (310-206-3302), email (development@athletics.ucla.edu) or online at WoodenAthleticFund.com.
