UCLABruins.com recently visited with men's water polo head coach Adam Wright and alumnus Chay Lapin in Thousand Oaks as Team USA finished up final preparations for the 2012 Olympics in London.
Wright, who will be entering his fourth season as UCLA's head coach, is making his third trip to the Olympics. He was previously on the 2004 team and the silver medal-winning 2008 team. Wright played at UCLA from 1997-2000, winning two NCAA team titles.
This is Lapin's first Olympic appearance. He played at UCLA from 2006-09 and is the only UCLA goalkeeper in history to earn All-MPSF honors all four years.
