After the completion of six NCAA Championships, UCLA is third in the current Division I Learfield Sports Directors' Cup standings. UCLA finished third in the overall standings during the 2011-12 school year.

The Bruins have a total of 256.00 points after finishing second in men's water polo, fifth in women's soccer, 13th in men's cross country and 17th in men's soccer.

The University of North Carolina leads all schools with 292.00 points, while Michigan is second with 265.00. Georgetown (fourth-place, 253.50) and Stanford (fifth-place, 251.50) round out the Top 5.

The Learfield Sports Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in up to 20 sports - 10 women's and 10 men's.
