After the completion of seven NCAA Championships, UCLA stands in fifth place in the current Division I Learfield Sports Directors' Cup standings. UCLA finished third in the overall standings during the 2011-12 school year.

The Bruins have a total of 306.00 points after a second-place showing in men's water polo, a fifth-place finish by women's soccer, a 13th-place finish by men's cross country and 17th-place showings by men's soccer and women's volleyball.

Fueled by a third-place showing in women's volleyball, Michigan took over the lead with 348.00 points, followed by previous leader North Carolina (342.00), Stanford (324.50), Penn State (323.50) and UCLA. With Oregon moving up to 10th, the Pac-12 now leads all conferences with three institutions in the Top 10.

The final Division I fall standings will be released on January 10 after the completion of the FCS National Championship and the Bowl Games.

The Learfield Sports Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in up to 20 sports - 10 women's and 10 men's.
