The UCLA Bruins are currently ranked in seventh-place in the final Fall Division I Learfield Sports Directors' Cup (LSDC) standings following the completion of all the fall NCAA Championships. The Bruins finished third in the overall standings during the 2011-12 school year.
The Bruins have scored a total of 331.00 points after a second-place showing in men's water polo, fifth-place finish by women's soccer, a 13th-place showing in men's cross country, 17th-place ranking in women's volleyball and a 44th-place finish in football.
In addition, the Pac-12 continues to lead all conferences with three institutions in the top 10 with Stanford and Oregon moving up in the standings to first-place and sixth-place, respectively.
The first Division I winter standings will be released Thursday, March 21 after the completion of the men's and women's indoor track and field championships.
The Learfield Sports Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in up to 20 sports -- 10 women's and 10 men's.
