UCLA remains in seventh place in the latest Division I Learfield Sports Directors' Cup standings.

Following the completion of the first winter championships, the Bruins held firm at No. 7 after a 15th-place showing at the NCAA Championships by the women's indoor track and field team and a 49th-place finish by the men's team.

The Bruins finished third in the overall standings during the 2011-12 school year.

UCLA has scored a total of 412.50 points thanks to a second-place showing in men's water polo, fifth-place finish by women's soccer, a 13th-place showing in men's cross country, 15th-place showing by women's indoor track and field, 17th-place ranking in women's volleyball, 44th-place finish in football and 49th-place showing by men's indoor track and field.

In addition, the Pac-12 continues to lead all conferences with three institutions in the top 10. Oregon now ranks No. 1 with 506.75 points, and Stanford is third with 441.50.

The second Division I winter standings will be released Thursday, April 4 after the completion of the men's and women's swimming and diving and wrestling championships.

The Learfield Sports Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in up to 20 sports -- 10 women's and 10 men's. Complete standings and the scoring structure can be found on NACDA's website at directorscup.org.
