Senior Christina Tolson (Fountain Valley, CA/Fountain Valley HS) of the UCLA Women's Track & Field Team was as the UCLABruins.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Mar. 26-Apr. 1.
Tolson led her team to a quadrangular meet victory over UC Irvine, Asuza Pacific and Cal State LA Mar. 31 at Drake Stadium. Tolson won all three events she entered, placing first in the shot put (54-6 3/4), discus (145-4) and hammer throw (203-10).
This is Tolson's second student-athlete of the week honor of the season and of her career.
