LOS ANGELES - Fans are encouraged to head to Barney's Beanery in Westwood tonight from 7:00-8:00 p.m. for the Bruin Insider Radio Show, which will air live on AM570 Fox Sports Los Angeles. It's Rivalry Week in Los Angeles and tonight's show will have a definite UCLA-USC theme to it. Coach Jim Mora will talk about the cross-town showdown and featured live guests include former UCLA standout wide receiver Jim McElroy and current Bruin water polo player Chris Wendt. The show will be streamed online at uclabruins.com. The broadcast can also be heard on smart phones and tablets via the free TuneIn App.

Coach Mora and the Bruins take an 8-3 record into this Saturday's showdown against USC at the Coliseum (kickoff is 5:00 p.m. on ABC). UCLA is looking to continue its momentum in the series after notching a 38-28 victory over the Trojans last year at the Rose Bowl.

McElroy, who was a two-sport star at UCLA (football & track) from 1994-97, never lost to the Trojans, posting a perfect 4-0 record during his time in Westwood. His first touchdown reception as a Bruin came in UCLA's 31-19 victory over USC during his freshman season. McElroy still ranks highly in several UCLA career categories, including kickoff return yardage (5th - 1,259), receiving yards (8th - 2,029) and all-purpose yards (15th - 3,288).

Rounding out the show will be Wendt, who helped lead the Bruins to a dramatic 10-9 double-overtime victory over USC in men's water polo last Thursday evening at the Spieker Aquatics Center. The senior captain is one of the team's top defenders, also adding 26 goals on the year for the 27-2 Bruins.
