March 17, 2014 | Women's Tennis
Similar to its 5-0 victory over Utah on Friday, the Bruins cruised in all facets of Sunday's match. UCLA lost just four games in its two doubles victories, securing the point when top-ranked Robin Anderson and Jennifer Brady downed Winde Janssens and Nuria Ormeno Ruiz, 8-3 at court No. 1.
UCLA then reeled off three straight-set victories in singles play to earn the 4-0 win. Two of UCLA's wins came in the form of 6-0, 6-0 victories, with Anderson and Chanelle Van Nguyen each going perfect at court Nos. 1 and 4, respectively. The Bruins' other singles winner on the day was Brady, who downed Alex Aiello, 6-4, 6-1 at court No. 2.
Next up for UCLA is a match against Washington in Seattle on Friday, March 21.
