Golfers Seventh at Pac-12 Championship

MARANA, AZ -- Fourteenth-ranked UCLA fell to seventh place at the Pac-12 Men's Golf Championship, hosted by Arizona at The Gallery Golf Club in Marana, AZ.

Stanford held the third round lead, building a 21-shot lead with a 54-hole team score of 1,083 (+3). California was second at 1,104 (+24), followed by Washington at 1,107 (+27) and USC in fourth at 1,119 (+39). In fifth place was Arizona State at 1,123 (+43), followed by sixth place Colorado at 1,125 (+45). The Bruins were at 1,126 (+46).

Individually, sophomore Lorens Chan was tied for 15th place at 221 (+5) after posting a team-best score of 75 (+3). Senior Anton Arboleda was tied for 28th at 225 (+9) after carding a 76 (+4). Junior Matt Pinizzotto was tied for 33rd at 227 (+11) after signing for a 77 (+5). Tied for 40th were sophomore Jonathan Garrick and junior Preston Valder at 229 (+13). Garrick posted a 77 (+5) on Saturday and Valder carded an 80 (+8). In 59th place at 20-over par 236 was Jake Knapp, who signed for an 82 (+10).

First place belonged to Stanford's Patrick Rodgers, who was at seven-under par 209 (-7) following a third-round 73 (+1).
