No. 9 UCLA Rowing Races in NCAA Championship Semifinals

UCLA's varsity eight and varsity four crews each finished first in C/D semifinal heats and will compete in C Final races on Sunday morning.
The Bruins' second varsity eight posted a fourth-place finish in the A/B semifinal, recording a time of 6:42.390. The Bruins finished behind Ohio State, Princeton and Brown, respectively. The crew will compete in the Petite Final on Sunday morning (places 7-13).
UCLA's varsity eight crew (6:40.914) finished first in its semifinal race, crossing the finish line ahead of Washington State, Louisville, Oklahoma and Jacksonville. The Bruins' varsity four crew finished first with a time of 7:55.39. UCLA was followed by Louisville, San Diego, Massachusetts and Boston University.
UCLA's varsity four will race Sunday at 8:40 a.m. (ET), followed by the Bruins' varsity eight crew at 9:20 a.m. (ET) and the second varsity eight in a Petite Final race at 10:20 a.m. (ET).
