Peszek scored 9.9 or higher on all three events she competed, leading UCLA to its season-high score of 197.350 in a road win over Arizona State. Peszek tied for first on vault with a career-high-tying score of 9.95, sticking a Yurchenko layout full vault to capture her fourth vault title of the year and her fifth-consecutive 9.9+ vault score. Her 9.95 helped the Bruins earn a season-high 49.5 on vault and UCLA's highest vault score since scoring similarly at the 2013 NCAA semifinals. Peszek earned second-place finishes on beam (9.925) and bars (9.9), leading the team to team scores that rank second-highest this season (49.425 on beam and 49.35 on bars). Peszek's three 9.9+ scores improve her season total to a team-best 14 (out of 25 routines). She leads the team in scoring average on vault (9.911), bars (9.891), floor (9.875), and all-around (39.6).
Lee competed on three events and scored career-bests on vault and bars to lead UCLA to a season-best team total of 197.350 in the road victory over Arizona State. Lee won the uneven bars for the fifth time this season, scoring her second-consecutive 9.95 on the event as UCLA totaled its second-highest bars score of the year, 49.350. Lee also scored a career-best 9.875 on vault to tie for third place, contributing to the team's season-high vault score of 49.5, the Bruins' highest on vault since the 2013 NCAA semifinals. Her 9.85 on beam tied her for third place and helped UCLA score 49.425, also the team's second-highest score of the season.
Utah's Georgia Dabritz earned Specialist of the Week honors, also for the second consecutive week.
Peszek earned Gymnast of the Week honors for the third time this year, and Lee received Freshman/Newcomer of the Week acclaim for the second time. She was also the Pac-12 Specialist of the Week on Feb. 2.
UCLA returns to action on Saturday, Mar. 7 in the home finale against Stanford at 4pm.
