The Bruins were 26-over par and tied with Oklahoma State. Third-ranked Washington was first at 14-over par, followed by San Diego State at 25-over. In fifth place was Stanford at 29-over par.
Play was suspended in the middle of the second round and will be continued Tuesday at 8 a.m. PST.
Senior Erynne Lee was the overall leader for the Bruins at 2-over par, tied for third place. In the first round she posted a 73 (+1). Sophomore Bronte Law fired a first round score of 70 (-2) and after 33 holes was tied for 10th at 4-over par. Freshman Lydia Choi was tied for 32nd place at 10-over par. She posted a round of 77 (+5) in the morning. Tied for 36th at 12-over par was freshman Erin Choi, who carded a 76 (+4) in the first round. Junior Louise Ridderstrom was tied for 40th at 13-over par. She signed for a 79 (+7) in round one.
Also tied for 40th and playing as an individual was senior Brittany Mai at 13-over. Sophomore Yvonne Zheng was in 79th place after 32 holes.
Stanford's Lauren Kim was the leader in the clubhouse after the first day at 1-under par. She posted an even par first round of 72.
