Women's Volleyball

UCLA Women's Volleyball player Jordan Anderson earns weekly honors.

Junior Jordan Anderson (Flower Mound, Texas) of the UCLA women's volleyball team was named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 7-13.

Anderson was named the Most Valuable Player of the UCSB Tournament, her second-straight week in which she received an MVP honor, recording 48 kills, a .299 hitting percentage, 10 digs and eight blocks in three Bruin victories. Anderson posted a season-best 20 kills against No. 18 San Diego on Friday to go with six digs. She led the Bruins in kills in all three matches, tallying 14 on both Saturday and Sunday versus SMU and UC Santa Barbara, respectively. On Sunday, Anderson surpassed the 1,000-kill mark for her career. The transfer from West Virginia had 889 in her first two seasons and leads the Bruins with 118 this season.

This is Anderson's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of her career.
