* UCLA holds an overall series lead against BYU, 8-3.
* UCLA has won 14 of its last 15 non-conference matchups, including 11 straight. UCLA has won all 12 regular season non-conference games under Coach Jim Mora.
*UCLA is 5-1 in its last six games against ranked opponents. UCLA is now 10-6 vs. ranked teams under Coach Mora.
*The Bruins have rushed for at least 100 yards as a team in 23 straight games.
*Early Season Streaks: UCLA has started each of the past four seasons with a winning streak - 2015: 3, 2014: 4, 2013: 5, 2012: 3.

*With his 35-yard FG in the 2nd quarter, UCLA kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn has now made 34 straight field goals from 35 yards and in and on 19 of his last 21 overall attempts.
*Ka'imi Fairbairn's 2nd quarter field goal moved him into fourth on UCLA's career scoring chart with 332 points. He finished the day with three more points and now has 335 career points. He passed Skip Hicks (1993-94, 96-97 – 330 points).
*With 219 yards rushing, Paul Perkins became the first Bruin to rush for over 200 yards since Johnathan Franklin rushed for 217 against Nebraska in 2012.
*Paul Perkins set career-highs in rushing yards (219) and rushing attempts (26) tonight and he now has eight career 100-yard rushing games. The 219 yards surpassed his previous high of 194 (Kansas State, 2015).
*Paul Perkins became the 20th Bruin to surpass the 3,000 all-purpose yard mark (currently 3,162).
*Paul Perkins is currently 11th on the UCLA career rushing list with 2,577 yards and passed Maurice Jones-Drew (2,503 – 2003-05). He needs seven yards to crack the top 10 (Kevin Nelson, 2,583 – 1980-83).
*Nate Starks set career-highs in rushing yards (81) and rushing attempts (seven) tonight, surpassing his previous best of 41 (Arizona, 2014). He also had the two longest rushes of his young career in the game-winning touchdown drive (31 and 22 yards).
*Devin Fuller's 56-yard punt return in the 3rd quarter was a personal best.
*Jordan Payton has caught a pass in a team-best 19 straight games and has caught a TD pass in each of his last two games (11th of his career tonight).
* Linebacker Isaako Savaiinaea had a career-high 14 total tackles and a career-best 10 solo with 1.5 sacks tonight. All three totals are a season-best by a Bruin in 2015. The reserve linebacker had eight tackles, two for loss in 13 appearances in 2014.
*Linebacker Myles Jack had the game-clinching INT in the final minute, his 1st INT of the season and 4th of his career.
BYU Postgame Notes
Team
*The alumni flag was carried by former BYU tight end Byron Rex (1986, 89-92). The team flag was carried by senior running back Adam Hine and the special teams flag was carried by freshman linebacker Rhett Sandlin. The attendance was 67,612.
*Game captains against UCLA were senior defensive end Bronson Kaufusi, wide receiver Mitch Mathews and wide receiver Mitchell Juergens.
*BYU held UCLA without a third-down conversion in the first half. The Bruins were 0 for 5 on third down in the first half. UCLA finished 1 for 9 on third-down conversions for the night. BYU converted on 8 of 19.
*The last time BYU had consecutive games intercepting at least three passes was in 2010. BYU picked off at least three in three straight against New Mexico, Utah and UTEP.
*BYU posted 26 first downs in the game, the most in the 2015 season.
*BYU allowed a 200-yard rusher for the first time with UCLA's Paul Perkins running for 219 yards for the first time since 2001. Henri Childs of Colorado State ran for 237 against the Cougars but BYU won 56-34.
*The Cougars held the ball for 40:37 to UCLA's 19:23. The last time BYU had at least 40 minutes of possession time was in a 24-21 win over San Diego State in 2010 with 45:01.
Individual
*Adam Hine a career-night with personal bests in rushing attempts (23) and rushing yards (149). He also accounted for one touchdown.
*Linebacker Harvey Langi played both ways for BYU tonight and had a big night. He led the team in tackles with eight, a career high and recorded his first and second career interceptions. He also rushed the ball twice on third down, converting both and totaling eight yards, his first carries at BYU.
*Tanner Mangum set career-highs with 30 completions and 47 attempts. He threw one touchdown pass and one interception. He has thrown at least one touchdown pass in every game this year. He passed for 244 yards. Mangum also had a pass deflected back to him which he caught and ran for four yards, earning him his first career reception.
*Trevor Samson connected on all three of his field goal attempts. He hit from 40, 45 and 32. His 45-yarder tied a career long with his 45-yarder. He has made nine consecutive field goals.
*Mitch Mathews caught a pass for the 27th consecutive game. He led the team with nine receptions and 84 yards and one touchdown.
