Bruins Head to Tulsa for ITA Action

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association is set to hold its second national championship tournament of the 2015-16 season, as the nation's top Division I men's players gather in Tulsa, Okla., to take part in the 2015 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships.

UCLA senior Karue Sell and sophomore Martin Redlicki are both qualifying singles.  Sell also qualified for doubles with teammate Joseph Di Giulio.  Three Bruins also made the pre-qualifying singles list.  Di Giulio will be joined by Austin Rapp and Ryoto Tachi

Pre-qualifying matches are slated to begin on Saturday, Oct. 3, with qualifying matches starting on Oct. 5 and main draw contests getting underway on Oct. 8. The singles and doubles finals are scheduled for Oct. 12.

Singles quarterfinalists, doubles finalists, and consolation champions will receive an automatic entry into the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships on Nov. 12-15, to be played at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.

UCLA has won the second-most men's doubles titles with three, behind Tennessee with five.
