Bruin Tennis Making a Run in Malibu

MALIBU, Calif. – Four Bruins advance to Saturday's rounds at the 2015 USTA/ITA Southwest Regional Championships at Pepperdine University. Fourth-seeded Martin Redlicki and No. 15 Logan Staggs will play in the singles round of 16, while the fourth-seeded doubles pair of Joseph Di Giulio and Karue Sell will play in Saturday's quarterfinals.
In the first match of the day for UCLA, Di Giulio and Sell defeated Felix Albert and Kai Wehnelt of Hawai'i, 8-7, after winning the tiebreaker, 7-3.
In singles play, Redlicki downed USC's Thibault Forget in straights while Staggs battled back to beat USC's Jack Jaede in three sets.
