UCLA Hosts Colorado, Utah
UCLA (6-7-1, 2-3-1 in the Pac-12) will host Colorado (7-6-2, 1-4-1) on Friday, Oct. 23 at 6pm before welcoming Utah (5-7-3, 2-4-0) to Drake Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 25 at 1pm. Both matches will be televised live on Pac-12 Mountain.

Bruins vs. Buffaloes
UCLA is 6-0-1 all-time against Colorado, with four straight wins in the series, including last year's 1-0 affair in Los Angeles. Colorado's lone victory came in 2010, a 1-0 overtime victory in Boulder.

The Buffs are led by Brie Hooks, who leads the team in goals (4), assists (5) and points (13). Colorado's marquee result so far this season has been a 2-1 overtime win against 14th-ranked California on Sept. 27. Since then, however, the Buffs have gone 0-4-1, scoring just two goals in those five games.

UCLA vs. Utah
UCLA is 4-1-1 all-time against Utah and unbeaten in the last five matchups. Utah's only win in the series was a 2-1 victory in Salt Lake in 2004. UCLA won last year's contest in Los Angeles, 1-0, on a 48th minute goal by Sam Mewis.

The Utes are led by leading scorer Natalie Vukic, who has three goals and three assists for 9 points. Goalkeeper Lindsey Luke has posted four shutouts. Utah has lost its last three matches, all to ranked opponents.

Cromwell Seeks 50th UCLA Win
With her next team victory, Bruin head coach Amanda Cromwell will earn her 50th win at UCLA. Cromwell, who has coached in 64 games at UCLA in three seasons, could become the second-fastest to 50 in UCLA women's soccer history, just behind Jill Ellis, who earned her 50th victory in her 63rd game. Cromwell holds a 272-107-33 record in 19 years of coaching and ranks among the top-15 winningest active coaches and the top-20 all-time winningest coaches in NCAA history.

Last Week ...
Time ran out on UCLA's comeback efforts in Corvallis, as the Bruins lost at Oregon State, 2-1, on Oct. 17. With UCLA facing a 2-0 deficit and the clock winding down, the Bruin offense came alive, taking five of their nine shots in the final six minutes. Three of those shots were saved or blocked before Darian Jenkins broke through with a goal at 88:00. However, with just two minutes remaining in the game, UCLA was unable to come up with the tying goal to extend the game.

Bruins Earn NSCAA Team Academic Award
For the fourth-straight year, UCLA has earned a NSCAA Team Academic Award. The Bruins earned the first NSCAA Team Academic Award in school history for the 2011-12 campaign and have won it every year since. The 2014-15 Bruins posted a 3.03 team GPA to receive the distinction.

Spread Offense
Ten different UCLA players have scored the Bruins' 20 goals this season. Darian Jenkins leads the team in goals scored with five, followed by Kodi Lavrusky, who has three. Taylor Smith, Lauren Kaskie, Amber Munerlyn and Annie Alvarado have two goals apiece, while Gabbi Miranda, MacKenzie Cerda, Kristiana Konkol-Mroczkowski and Claire Winter have one each. Zoey Goralski leads the team in assists with five, followed by Lavrusky, Alvarado, Smith and Cerda, who have two each.

Ask Siri
Redshirt freshman Siri Ervik became UCLA's third starting goalkeeper this season, earning starts in UCLA's last three games. Ervik, a Norwegian Youth National Team player, looked strong in her collegiate debut Oct. 9, going 85 shutout minutes before allowing a late goal and making two saves while facing 10 shots in the Bruins' 5-1 win over Arizona. In the 1-1 tie with Arizona State, she made four saves off 16 shots and shut the Sun Devils out for the final 96 minutes of play.

Goralski Lends a Foot
Defender Zoey Goralski is the Pac-12 leader in assists in conference games, recording four in six games for a conference-best 0.67 assists per game average. Goralski has a team-high five assists on the year, with three coming on game-winning goals

Tight Ballgames
Ten of UCLA's 14 matches have been decided by just one goal. The Bruins have won three games by a 1-0 score, two by a 2-1 count and one by a 5-1 margin.

First-Timers
Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Siri Ervik became the latest Bruin to make her collegiate debut, earning the start and the victory in a 5-1 win over Arizona. Additionally, Alyssa Alarab and Taylor Alderete saw their first minutes of the season against the Wildcats.

Of the 20 players who have earned at least one start this year, 11 are first-year starters (Hailie Mace, Zoey Goralski, MacKenzie Cerda, Madison Tye, Gabrielle Matulich, Belden Long, Cassie Sternbach, Arielle Schechtman, Reema Bzeih, Claire Winter and Ervik).

Pac-12 Attendance Leaders
UCLA leads all conference teams in home attendance, averaging 1,410 fans per game. The Bruins also lead in overall attendance average, with an average of 1,393 fans coming out to see UCLA.

Tough Schedule
UCLA plays one of the toughest schedules in the nation, with 14 matches scheduled against teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament a year ago, including national runner-up Virginia, College Cup participant Stanford and 22-time NCAA champion North Carolina. UCLA's game vs. Arizona was the Bruins' sixth against a Top 25 team. The Bruins have also faced two Top 5 squads.

Seven Bruins on All-Century Team
Seven UCLA players, led by Starting XI selections Lauren Cheney (2006-09) and Abby Dahlkemper (2011-14), were selected to the Pac-12's All-Century Women's Soccer Team. Named to the reserve squad were Sydney Leroux (2008-11), Sam Mewis (2011-14), Christina DiMartino (2005-08), Nandi Pryce (2000-03) and Katelyn Rowland (2011-14).

Looking Ahead
UCLA closes the season with three big matches at Cal, at Stanford and at home vs. USC.

Crosstown Rivalry Comes to Westwood
The annual crosstown matchup between UCLA and USC comes to Westwood this season, on Nov. 6. With over 10,000 fans attending last year's matchup, this rivalry is not one to be missed! Tickets are on sale now at uclabruins.com/tickets. UCLA won last year's game at the Coliseum, 2-0, and clinched the Pac-12 title outright thanks to a pair of late goals by Kylie McCarthy.
