
Lane Werley Named All-American Again

NEW ORLEANS - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Monday that UCLA senior Lane Werley was one of 80 student-athletes that received All-America honors for the 2015 NCAA Division I Cross Country season.
Overall finish at the NCAA Championships is the determining factor as the top 40 individuals from both men's and women's races earn All-America accolades from the USTFCCCA.
Finishing in 21st place overall, Werley ran an impressive race in Louisville with a time 10k time of 30:13 at the NCAA Championship to cap off a remarkable 2015 season and cross country career.
The All-American honor was the second of his cross country career, his first came in 2012. It was the team's 11th appearance in the NCAA Championship, UCLA finished in 14th place overall.
