UCLA/Muscle Milk

Junior guard Isaac Hamilton (Los Angeles, Calif.) of the UCLA men's basketball team was named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Dec. 21-27.

Hamilton scored a team-leading 18 points and tallied a career-high 11 rebounds in UCLA's 67-53 win last week over McNeese State. He also finished with four steals in the Bruins' only contest of the week. Hamilton has become UCLA's first player with at least eight or more field goals in five consecutive games since 1991 (when Tracy Murray accomplished that feat in six straight games). Hamilton has averaged 20.2 points per game in the Bruins' last five contests, scoring in double figures in UCLA's last nine games.

This is Hamilton's second UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of his career.

Also nominated: Jordin Canada, W. Basketball.
