LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- UCLA senior Catherine Harrison, ranked No. 18 nationally, fell to No. 75 Desirae Krawczyk of ASU in the championship match at the 2016 National Collegiate Tennis Classic on Sunday.  After taking the first set, 6-1, Harrison dropped the second and third to her Pac-12 foe.

En route to the finals, Harrison cruised past Arizona's Shayne Austin in the quarterfinals, 6-2, 6-4.  In the semis, the Bruin faced Caroline Doyle of Stanford.  Doyle is currently ranked No. 39 in the ITA Singles rankings (Jan. 5).  Harrison downed the Cardinal standout, 6-2, 6-3.
