The men's volleyball team, ranked fifth in the AVCA pre-season coaches poll, will swing into action on Sunday night in Pauley Pavilion in a 7 p.m. exhibition match against the University of British Columbia.

John Speraw's Bruins will then open the 2016 season on the road at #14 George Mason (15-13 record in 2015) on Tuesday at 4 p.m. PT. UCLA will remain back east for matches on Thursday (2 p.m. PT) and on Friday (4:30 p.m. PT) against #6 Ohio State (22-9) and #10 Penn State (21-10). Both matches will be played at Penn State, site of this year's NCAA Championship.

UCLA's first home match will be on Jan. 23 against #12 USC (3 p.m.). The Bruins' first match in the Los Angeles area will be on Jan. 15 at #2 ranked UC Irvine (28-5) at 7 p.m.
