The UCLA women's soccer team will kick off its spring schedule this weekend with a game against CSUN in Northridge on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 11am.
The Bruins will play a total of seven matches in the spring, including four at UCLA during the spring academic quarter. The Bruins will host JFA Academy on Tuesday, Mar. 29 at 9:30am and will also host Long Beach State on Sunday, Apr. 10 at 1pm. The Bruins' final two spring matches will take place on campus on Sunday, Apr. 17, beginning with an alumni game at 11:15am and concluding with a match against Cal State Fullerton at 1:30pm.
Also on UCLA's spring schedule are games at Pepperdine on Saturday, Mar. 12 and a Saturday, Apr. 9 contest at Pleasant Valley in Camarillo against UC Santa Barbara.
UCLA returns 11 players who started seven or more games last season, led by All-Pac-12 honoree Darian Jenkins, who led the team in goals scored in 2015 and 2013, and team captain Annie Alvarado. Others who started in at least seven contests last year are team assist-leader Zoey Goralski, Lauren Kaskie, MacKenzie Cerda, Claire Winter, Gabbi Miranda, Hailie Mace, Courtney Proctor, Reema Bzeih and Siri Ervik.
