In this week's Bruin Banter, host Danusia Francis visits with two of the team's newest contributors, Nicki Shapiro and Rechelle Dennis.

Shapiro and Dennis have contributed greatly to the Bruin lineup in the last two weeks, with Shapiro averaging 9.875 on beam in her two competitions and Dennis earning career-highs on vault and bars in the last meet. As they talk with Francis about working to make the lineups, Dennis shares that she has rejoined Earth this year after being a little "spacey" her freshman year, and Shapiro talks about her competitive nature allowing her to come back to gymnastics after three years off (and how fighting with her makeup gets her competitive juices going before meets).
