Senior Danusia Francis (Kenilworth, England) of the UCLA gymnastics team was named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Mar. 14-20.

Francis won a share of the balance beam title and led UCLA to its 17th Pac-12 team title on Mar. 19, scoring 9.95 on balance beam to claim her first career conference crown. She led a red-hot balance beam squad to the sixth-highest balance beam score in school history – 49.575 – to help the Bruin pull away from the competition in the third rotation. Her 9.875 on floor exercise helped UCLA seal the win in the fourth rotation. Francis also recorded a season-high of 9.875 on uneven bars to help the Bruins score a meet-high 49.300 on the event.

This is Francis' first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of her career.
