Senior Kylie Price (Chino Hills, Calif.) of the UCLA track & field team was named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Mar. 21-27.
After taking a redshirt season, the All-American returned to the track in impressive fashion. Price opened up her 2016 outdoor season by winning three events and placing second in another. She opened up the Jim Bush Collegiate Invitational with the No. 1 mark in the nation in the long jump with a winning leap of 21-4.75. She then followed that up by anchoring home the 4x100m relay team in a time of 44.12, the fifth fastest time in the country. That 44.12 is the fastest run by a UCLA quartet since 2004. Price then clocked an 11.43 in the 100m – the 14th fastest in the NCAA. Price capped off her day by finishing second in the 200m with a time of 24.03.
This is Price's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and third of her career.
