In 2010, UCLA softball won its 12th National Championship and its 11th NCAA Title. Rekindling a rivalry with the two winningest teams in softball history, the Bruins faced Arizona in the Championship Series.

Three-time All-American Megan Langenfeld saw herself give up a lead in the circle in the top of the seventh to the Wildcats, but the fates would give her a chance with her bat in the eighth inning.
