2016 Football Training Camp

LOS ANGELES - The UCLA football team will open training camp on the UCLA campus on Monday, Aug. 8 before heading to San Bernardino for a week, starting on Monday, Aug. 15. The first week of practice on the UCLA intramural fields and the week at Cal State San Bernardino are once again open to the public.

The practices at CSUSB will take place on the athletic fields located on the east side of campus. Parking is available for $5 each day for fans in Lots G and H, which are adjacent to the fields.

The Bruins are scheduled to be at Cal State San Bernardino through a final morning practice on Saturday, Aug. 20.  Fan Appreciation events are scheduled for Aug. 13 in Westwood and Aug. 20 in San Bernardino, with further details to come.

Upon the team's return to campus, all practices moving forward will be closed to the public. A full rundown of dates and times, all of which are subject to change, is listed below.

Season ticket packages start at just $249 and are currently available for purchase.  Single-game tickets to any of UCLA's six home games will go on sale to the general public beginning Thursday, July 21.  For season ticket packages or single-game tickets, visit uclabruins.com/tickets or call (310) UCLA-WIN.

In 2015 UCLA made an appearance in the Top 10 of the AP Poll for the third straight season and the first such stretch for the team since 1984-89. In the spring, eight Bruins, including first-round selection Kenny Clark and second-round pick Myles Jack, were chosen in the 2016 NFL Draft. The total of eight players selected in this draft was the most of any Pac-12 school, the third most of any school in the country and the most UCLA has had drafted since the draft went to seven rounds in 1994.

The Bruins return the Pac-12 and Sporting News Freshman of the Year in quarterback Josh Rosen. Senior tackle Conor McDermott returns to solidify the offensive line while standouts Eddie Vanderdoes and Fabian Moreau make their comeback to anchor the defense. Kennedy Polamalu takes over the reins of the UCLA offense while the Bruins also add quarterbacks coach Marques Tuiasosopo and tight ends coach Rip Scherer.

The 2016 season kicks off with a SEC foe in Texas A&M on Sept. 3 in College Station, Texas. The two teams will meet for the first time since a UCLA victory in the 1998 Cotton Bowl. The Bruins then host the home opener against UNLV on Sept. 10, before capping off non-conference play on the road in Provo, Utah against BYU on Sept. 17.

UCLA will play six home games at the Rose Bowl and will begin Pac-12 against Stanford on Sept. 24 and Arizona on Oct. 1. Utah will mark the homecoming opponent for the Bruins on Oct. 22 while Oregon State will travel south on Nov. 12. UCLA hosts rival USC on Nov. 19.
